Norseland, whose brands include Jarlsberg, Applewood, Mexicana and Five Counties, offered the winner a beautiful wooden platter, dinner at the British Cheese Awards gala dinner, a visit to their Ilchester creamery in Somerset plus a weekend for two in Bath.
Entries can be any BOOK, PROGRAMME, ARTICLE or PUBICITY STUNT that highlights the diversity and quality of British cheese. Submissions must be a minimum of 400 words or 10 minutes and be published or broadcast between September 7th 2009 and September 6th 2010.
The winner was announced at the Gala Dinner at the National Museum, Cardiff.

The magazine features numerous articles about cheese and how to handle it throughout the year and publishes a large Dairy Suppliment with contact details on industry suppliers and distributors. The winning article however was a 5 page spread on British cheese, cheesemakers and how to look after it written with obvious passionate adn genuine interest.
