THE VINEYARD

New in 2008 the "Grappling with the Grape" wine workshops are designed to demystifying wine and educate your palate for only £5.00. They proved highly popular with nearly every session selling out so book now [and use your voucher] to guarantee your place.

Raw Milk Cheese

Many of the cheeses on offer are made with raw milk and the organisers of this event strongly support the right to make, and the freedom to consume, these cheeses. However we need to bring the following information to the attention of Festival goers.

The Government has advised that “at risk” groups [the very elderly, very young, pregnant women and anyone with a depressed immune system] should avoid eating certain soft cheeses. The advice applies to both unpasteurised and pasteurised soft cheeses.

THE DAIRY

Sponsored by Delamere Dairy

This marquee is dedicated to Cheesemaking Demonstrations, one of the most popular events of the Festival that appeals to all ages.  £3.50 per ticket

THE HALL OF CHAMPIONS

A chance to meet the judges, talk to the cheesemakers and the buyers from M & S and taste some of the medal and award winning cheese from the 2009 British Cheese Awards.
