Britain's Biggest Cheese Festival
at Cardiff Castle! CARDIFF CASTLE became the new and permanent home to the Great British Cheese Festival in 2008, under the stewardship of Cardiff Council, and it is hard to imagine a more dramatic setting. Against a backdrop of some of the most impressive modern archit The Festival also features a TRADE DAY held on the Friday afternoon before the FESTIVAL followed by the announcment on Friday night of the BRITISH CHEESE AWARDS at a gala dinner. BRITAIN’S BIGGEST CHEESE MARKET dominates the FESTIVAL with over 450 cheeses from across the British Isles plus visitors can enjoy an extraordinary diversity of food and drink in the other markets.
